About Us

Harry Chesling hails from the early days of the Plumbing, Sanitary ware and Tile Industry when there was still very little knowledge and product availability. His son, Lloyd Chesling, remembers the early days with great fondness.

He was known throughout Port Elizabeth and renowned for his loving disposition and drive for excellent customer service.

Harry was involved with Kenzan Tiles for many years, moving them forward. Robin eventually sold out of the business and as a result, House of Tiles was born. The new showroom was opened at 24 Buckingham Road but eventually moved to its current home at 203 Main Road Walmer.
